2017 season comes to a close for Nanaimo Timbermen

by Dan Marshall

The 2017 lacrosse season has come to an end for the Junior A  Timbermen.

Nanaimo finished with a 2-18-1 record and Alec Molander was the club's  leading scorer with 49 points.

Saturday the Tmen had their final game in Langley with the Thunder winning 13-7.

Molander had five assists in the game while Zach Manns had three goals and an assist.

With the experience gained for the returning players, and a strong crop of Intermediate A's, Nanaimo should be an improved club in 2018.
