Junior A Timbermen load up roster for 2025

The Nanaimo Timbermen are loading up their roster with high expectations for the 2025 BCJALL season.

New additions include Sam Strother, Jeremy Wudrick and Josh Verhagen.

The Tmen also added four pieces to the organization in the midget draft this past winter.

Strother is a left hander who was the third leading scorer for the Delta Islanders in 2024.

He also plays field lacrosse for Queen's University in North Carolina.

Wudrick is a big body right handed offensive player from Saskatchewan who played with the Jr. A Miners in the RMLL last season.

Currently he is playing field at Lander University in South Carolina.

Defender Josh Verhagen played for the Junior Shamrocks last season and is in his Senior season at Canisius University in Buffalo, New York.

The four players selected in the 2025 midget draft Jack Wade, Deo Toth, Gavin Lemmon and Tyson Atkinson will vye for a spot on either the Junior A or Tier 1 roster this year.

The Junior A Timbermen open their season on May 17 at home against Port Coquitlam.
