Onagi added to Junior Timbermen roster

The Nanaimo Junior A Timbermen are pleased to announce Cayden Onagi will be part of the team for 2022.

Onagi has played box lacrosse for the Manitoba Blizzard and Saskatchewan SWAT and was a member of Team West at the 2021 World Junior Indoor Lacrosse Championship. 

Currently Onagi is attending Hartford Community College where he leads his field lacrosse team in scoring with 37 points in seven games.

Timbermen President Chris Bowman is excited to see what the lefty will bring to the Nanaimo offense.

"We had the opportunity to watch Cayden compete with Team Canada West at the 2021 IIJL World Junior Championship last year with fellow Timbermen Justin Geddie, Evan Soucy, Arthur Miller, and Easton Ong.  He is a highly skilled forward with a very high lacrosse IQ."

The Timbermen will have several more player announcements to make throughout April.
