Opening weekend for Nanaimo Timbermen

The Junior A Timbermen split their opening weekend of the BCJALL season.

Nanaimo won 11-6 over Port Coquitlam at home and lost 10--5 in Delta.

Both Andrew Bowman and Jeremy Wudrick had six points over the first two games with Matt Boas recording five.

Keegan Okino played both games and posted a 7.50 goals against average and .821 save percentage.

The Tmen are back at the Nanaimo Ice Centre for their next game on May 24 at 3 p.m. versus Delta and will hit the road again May 25 at Coquitlam.
