Rebuild season comes to a close

The Junior A Timbermen ended their season in Burnaby on July 12.

In a rebuilding year the Tmen finished 2-16, while giving significant floor time to the next wave of junior talent.

Nanaimo had a large roster of Junior A and Junior B players that developed greatly over the three month season in 2026.

The Timbermen also moved on several top players to gain future draft picks, many of those players are likely to return to the fold in 2027.

Coach Ty Yanko and his staff will have a comprehensive offseason plan for the players that will establish the building blocks for a much improved squad next season.
