Three former Okotoks Raiders join the Timbermen

The Nanaimo Junior A Timbermen have picked up three players from the 2023 Okotoks Junior Raiders program.

Lefty Connor Murphy had 24 points in 15 games while right hander Nicholas Luitwieler notched 10 points in seven appearances.

Defender Jimmy Murphy didn't record a point in 15 contests in 2023.

The trio helped the Jr. Raiders to a 10-5 finish last year.

Connor Murphy plays his field lacrosse at Western University in Ontario, Luitwieler attends Uindy in Indiana and Jimmy Murphy suits up for Mount Oliver in North Carolina.

The three players are expected to join the Tmen in the coming days for a busy schedule of games against Burnaby at home on May 18, Langley on the road on May 19 and another away game in Victoria on May 21.

Tmen Coach Simon Stocks doesn't expect the full roster until perhaps mid June so the addition of the Alberta players will add much needed depth to the roster
