Timbermen defence gets stronger with Campion

The Nanaimo Junior A Timbermen are proud to announce Matt Campion will wear the red and black this summer.

The 6'5 and 230 pound defender comes from Rockhurst University in Kansas City.

After 12 games he's among the team leaders in ground balls and caused turnovers.

Timbermen President Chris Bowman said Campion will be a force in the heart of the defence.

"Matt is very athletic. He moves very quickly for a man of his size and is a loose ball machine that uses his speed to transition the ball up the floor and create odd man rushes."

With a few weeks left before the start of the 2022 season the work to complete the Junior A Timbermen roster is nearly complete.
