Timbermen, Dodd's Furniture and the 7-10 Club Partner Up

The Nanaimo Timbermen, in partnership with huge supporter Dodd’s Furniture (Nanaimo) and the Nanaimo 7-10 Club, are proud to be hosting our first annual Christmas dinner for those in need on December 18.

“This is something we feel strongly about and is a small gesture that our club can do to help out in such difficult times”, said Jr GM/SrA Coach Dave Bremner. “Our players will be there serving meals and handing out warm socks, while following Covid safety measures put in place by health officials”.

This is not our first effort to help feed those in need – we delivered our first batch of 150 bagged sandwiches to the 7-10 Club a couple weeks ago - it was well received, and have plans to deliver more this winter. Please contact the 7-10 Club or the Nanaimo Timbermen if you would like to donate warm socks or food, and help make this a success!
