Timbermen fall short against Adanacs and Lakers

The Timbermen dropped both games on the weekend as they played host to  Coquitlam and had a visit to Burnaby.

On Saturday the Tmen lost 12-6 to the defending Minto Cup champs.

Adam Golia led the way with a goal and three assists while Jake Mickelson  had one goal and two assists.

Dakota Kasper went the distance in net with the Timbermen being outshot  45-41.

Then on Sunday Nanaimo lost 13-8 in Burnaby.

They were outshot 59-43 with Kasper once again handling the netminding  duties.

Cody Clark led the offense with two goals and three assists, while Adam Golia had two goals and two assists.

There are two tough opponents for the Tmen this weekend with a home game  against Langley on Saturday at 4:30 and visit to New West Sunday at 5 p.m.
