Timbermen finish third in the BCJALL

The regular season has come to an end for the Nanaimo Timbermen.

The Tmen finished 14-7 and in third place in the BCJALL standings.

On the final weekend of the season Nanaimo beat Burnaby 10-7 at home and downed New West 12-8 on the road.

In Saturday's game against the Lakers Matt Boas led the offense with two goals and three assists while Jack Bowie had three goals and an assist and Riley Arsenault added a goal and three helpers.

Colby Bowman had a strong outing with 46 saves.

In the season finale five players had three point outings and Keegan Okino made 49 stops.

Riley Arsenault led Nanaimo in scoring in the regular season with 80 points.

He was third in BCJALL scoring and Matt Boas was fourth in the league with 75 points.

Colby Bowman led the league in wins with 11 and save percentage at .847.

Nanaimo begins the post season with a best of five series against the Victoria Shamrocks starting on July 12.
