Timbermen finish week with 1-1 record
A tough loss and a big win for the Junior A Timbermen this past week.
Nanaimo lost 14-11 on Tuesday night in Victoria.
Ryan Sheridan had four goals and one assist and Riley Arsenault had a goal and four assists to lead the offence.
Justin Geddie made 44 saves on the night.
The Tmen were down 3-0 and 7-2 in the first half of the game, and despite outscoring their opponents 9-7 in the final 30 minutes couldn't come all the way back.
On Saturday a huge win over Port Coquitlam.
After trailing 2-1 the Timbermen came out storming and won 18-4.
Jacob Dunbar had five goals and two assists and Riley Arsenault and Arthur Miller and had five points each.
Colby Bowman got the start in net and stopped 33 shots.
Nanaimo enters the week with a 7-3 record tied for second place in the BCJALL.
The Tmen have four games left in the regular season including a road game in Delta on June 26 and a home date with the first place Shamrocks on June 28.
