Timbermen in the playoffs!

The Timbermen are the in the playoffs!  

It's the first post season appearance for Nanaimo since 2011.

On Saturday the Timbermen put themselves in the post season with a 13-8 win over Burnaby.

Thomas Vaesen led the way with five points while, Ryan Sheridan, Colton Lidstone, and Matt Jung each had four.

Justin Geddie backstopped the team with 31 saves.

The regular season ended with a 15-7 win in Delta on Sunday.

Ryan Sheridan paced the attack with an eight point outing, while Thomas Vaesen had six, and Colton Lidstone had five.

Colin Jeffrey stopped 43 shots in the victory.

Nanaimo finished the season with a 14-7 record, the exact same record as the Shamrocks and Salmonbellies.

The Tmen will finish fourth and play the top seeded Adanacs in a best of seven series.

The Timbermen won two of the three regular season head to head matchups.

In the coming days the BCJALL will release the playoff schedule.
