Timbermen prepared to make playoff push
The Junior A Timbermen are gearing up for the stretch drive in the BCJALL.
The team has recently acquired netminder Ashton Brown and defender Joel Mullen from the Port Coquitlam Saints.
The pair helped Nanaimo to a 9-3 win on the road in New West on June 22.
At 6-4 the Tmen sit fourth in the league standings but have games in hand on all the teams above them.
Nanaimo hosts the first place Adanacs on June 28th at 3:30 and then head out on the road to play Langley on June 29th.
Jeremy Wudrick and Andrew Bowman are 5th and 6th respectively in BCJALL scoring.
Wudrick has 42 points and Bowman has 39.
A make up date for the recent postponed game with the Thunder is still to be determined.
The regular season is scheduled to end on July 13.
