Timbermen win road game 13-10 in Delta
The Nanaimo Timbermen have moved to 8-3 on the season after a 13-10 win over Delta Islanders on Sunday.
The Tmen trailed 5-1 at one point but came back to win on the strength of a big second period outscoring their opponents 6-0.
Cayden Onagi led the offence with four goals and two assists while Arthur Miller and Jacob Dunbar each had three points.
Justin Geddie was busy but sharp with 45 saves on 55 shots.
Nanaimo debuted two new players on their roster in the victory.
Jordan Vincent from the Syracuse field program and the Delta Islanders has joined Nanaimo, while former Salmonbellies defender Evan Pattison is now also wearing the red and black.
The Timbermen will battle the Victoria Shamrocks in their next game on Tuesday June 28 at 7 p.m.
With a win the Tmen will have a shot at finishing in first place in the BCJALL standings.
