Tmen grab first win in Langley

The Junior A Timbermen have been making steady improvements in their game and have now earned their first win of the BCJALL season. 

Nanaimo defeated the Langley Thunder 9-7 on the road in their last game on June 7.

The Tmen had four points from Ethan Gordon and three each from Daniel O'Leary, Tysen Fontenla and Keenan Dewit.

Bostyn MacDonald stopped 39 of 46 shots for the win

MacDonald was excellent in Nanaimo's 5-4 overtime loss to Coquitlam as well on June 6.

In the last four games the Tmen have been to overtime twice, lost a one goal game and beat the Thunder.

Fontenla continues to lead the team in scoring with 22 points.

Nanaimo hosts Port Coquitlam at 2:30 p.m. on June 13 with a road game in Delta on June 14.
