The first weekend of the BCJALL season has come to an end and the Junior A Timbermen are still looking for their first win.
Nanaimo lost 15-9 to Langley in the home opener on Saturday and 10-7 to Poco on Sunday.
In both games it was a case of one bad period that made the difference.

Thomas Vaesen led the way with three goals and two assists while Kyle Drouin chipped in with a goal and three assists on offense.
Sunday Nanaimo was outscored 6-3 in the first period but played the Saints even in the final two periods.
Will Johansen led the offense with a three goal and one assist performance.
This weekend the Timbermen visit their island rivals the Victoria Shamrocks on Tuesday, they're home to the New Westminster Salmonbellies on Saturday, and they travel to play the Burnaby Lakers on Sunday.
