Torres becomes a Junior Timbermen

The Nanaimo Junior A Timbermen continue to build a high level roster for the 2022 season.

Kelowna product Zander Torres will join the team this spring and summer.

He's currently in his Freshman season at the University of the District of Columbia in Washington D.C.

Timbermen President Chris Bowman said the left hander is a versatile player.

"Zander is a spark plug who can excel playing out the front door or in transition. He is tenacious on loose balls and never takes a shift off." 

In nine games the midfielder has 35 points this season.

With the additions to Nanaimo's roster the team looks to build on an excellent 2021 campaign and be a top contender for the Minto Cup.
