Transition Specialist Easton Ong Joins the Timbermen

The Nanaimo Junior A Timbermen are excited to welcome transition specialist Easton Ong to the organization for the 2022 season.

The Saskatoon product has played box lacrosse for the Saskatchewan SWAT of the RMJALL and is currently playing DII field lacrosse for the University of Indianapolis.

Last summer Ong suited up for Team Canada West at the World Junior Lacrosse Championship where he was named an All World Team Transition Player.

Nanaimo Timbermen President Chris Bowman said Ong will bring elite level speed to the squad.

“I was able to watch Easton play at the world championships for Canada West and he was electric - picking off passes, grabbing loose balls and creating opportunities in transition every shift.”

Over the next several weeks the Timbermen will be announcing several key player additions to both the Junior and Senior programs.
